Borini just needs time and he will become a good player for the squad. Have all the necessary abilities to be good for the system, good movement and game intelligence, versatile (CF or IF on both sides), can score goals and still have plenty of room for development of his game.

He needs to regain fitness and get in to a team, that is playing well attacking wise at the moment with a good deal of competition in his positions, and it will be a good challenge for him.

I'm not convinced Borini can work out wide and, if given the choice between him and Sturridge playing centrally, it'd be Sturridge every time. Not quite sure where he fits in really.

Squad player at best. I can't see how he's ever going to be good enough to start for us, but I hope I'm proven wrong.

If, say, the choice was between keeping Borini or selling him to buy Ince... I'd buy Ince.

Me too, without hesitation (and I don't even rate Ince that highly).

Well, similar scenario for other players, if we were looking at a player who's natural position was a wide forward and were short of a few quid... and someone wanted Borini... I'd probably get rid.

I hope he comes good, it'd be nice for Brendog's signings to come good as that's one less stick for people to batter him with.

So that’s Suso, Teixeria and Borini who have barely played a dozen games between them.

Not the most patient, are you Senor Pablo?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Suso I rate , I do think he could benefit with going on loan though. He's not ready yet. He has a bright future though that's for sure.

Teixeria, it's early days. I'm not writing him off completely to be fair , just expressing doubts.

Borini, well I will be amazed if he's a hit here, I just don't see what he has in his game that will make him a 1st teamer at any point.

I'm entitled to my opinion, as are you with N'goooooooooo. It's just a shame you're wrong

We do need squad players as well though, and not just 11 players that can start. I think Borini offers us a lot of options, and have potential for more. I don't see us getting much better squad options than him, a young Italian international with a decent scoring record.

What I do have to moan about though is people who have a go at you for judging a player "early". That attitude that you need to "wait a full season" for passing any kind judgement on a player is ludicrous. Everyone forms an opinion on players early on, it's human nature. It's impossible not to. As we're watching, we're judging. We all do it no matter how much we try to deny it.

We've all done it with Sturridge already (positively), having only played a handful of games, and I'd say we've all done it with Borini too (negatively). It's just people some like to pretend they are "super fans" and deny it, where as others like myself are more honest about it.

Anyway, as always, I hope to be proven wrong about him, and if I do change my mind on him I will admit it.

I'd dearly love to have another striker on the bench who we can bring on and change a game for us. We're really missing that option still IMO. I just don't think it's Borini.

I think you are right! right to judge a player after 1 game or 20 games you see what you want to see after all we are happy to judge a player from match of the day, Youtube, seeing them twice a season on tv etc.

It is those fans that never change there mind that do my head in, I admit i was wrong about Lucas, He is a brilliant DM and vital to out team.....Yet I have one particular part time liverpool fan friend whenever Lucas gets discussed its ' The most unbrazilian player ever. he is rubbish, doesn't do anything, cant tackle, pass etc" its the Glen Johnson effect of ****ty media and crap pundits!!

Fiorentina - Borini: 'Negotiations at an Advanced Stage'

"The Blue's goal during the Under-21 friendly against Germany today, together with his recent extremely positive performances at Liverpool, have raised market interest in Fabio Borini - rumors being that Liverpool would like to sell him back to Italy this summer, with strong interest from Fiorentina.

'As I understand it, the deal to bring Borini to Florence is at an advanced stage' - told journalist Mario Sconcerti, host of Piazza Duomo suRadio, Tuscany.

The player likes that Pradè and Macía recently attempted to sign him to Florence during the January transfer window.'"
