Our "third" striker will get a lot more minutes next season if we make the champions league and start playing 3 games in 7/8 days.

I hope Borini, like Suso, can use the rest of the season to prove he is capable of fulfilling that role- god knows Aspas hasn't.

I see it the same way.

Cannot see him breaking back into our starting lineup with or without Suarez but the fact that he is playing regular football is certainly helping us to preserve the amount of money we invested in him.

I think it is very likely that we will sell him in the summer as he wants to play regularly and I cannot see that being a possibility with us.

So Borini then - is he developing into a decent player now? I never really rated him, but he seems to be doing well for Sunderland.

Thing is he needs a run of games to produce some firm, and he is noever going to get that here with Sturidge and Suarez ahead of him.

Nowhere near the level for a top 4 team

We are a top 4 team and he's better than Aspas.

Therefore I'd say he's good enough for a top 4 team.

I would happily have him in the bench.

Sort of player that's handy to have in the squad, he reminds me of Kuyt with his work rate and willingness to run all day.

Not sure he'd settle for that.

He is young player and he wants to play regular football to increase the chances of breaking into NT, which is a very important to him among other things.

If Sunderland stays up I'd expect them to try to sign him permanently and if not I think he'll go back to Seria A.

I'll be really angry if we don't make a profit on him.

I'd be amazed if we get more than £6m. He's scored I think 6 goals for Sunderland this season. He's just happened to score some high profile goals. Now he's playing with **** players so maybe he would score more here. Then again, if he's filling in for Daniel Sturridge at times next year then I'm expecting Suarez to just not pass to him
