I'd be willing to bet we don't see that team line up, ever.

EDIT: Not that I don't love it

Get the team playing with enjoyment is half the battle imo, lose the fear.

This lad looks that type of player.

He's signed a 5yr deal on £30k a week. Buttons in comparison to most. Think we're really looking at keeping the wage budget down.
Ryan Babel signed on Friday 13th.
Ian Rush would be a way better omen though

Really happy about this, the first signing in some time that has sat well with me at the time of presentation. Good to see Rodgers getting his players of choice and hopefully we can push on and grab another 2 or 3 in required positions.

Happy he's been in England for a bit, and speaks fluent English, because this will help him profoundly.

Sorry, we meant last player to sign on Fri 13th with an I in his first name.

                  So we're still good.

Me neither. It was a spur of the moment line-up I dreamt up but on paper it looks like it could cause some damage!

Happy with this transfer. The price and age are fair values as are his reported wages of 30k a week. It also makes sense because he already knows the language and has lived in the UK before as well as knowing how BR likes his teams to play. Have not seen a great deal of Fabio, but from the clips i have seen finishing looks to be his forte and thats something we were crying out for last season.

Seems to be a little confusion about the fee... The Echo are reporting "a deal worth" around £11m, where as Press Association Sport (which has been picked up by most outlets) have gone for €10m. Seems a very good price if its the latter

perhaps it was around 7mil up front and then possibly rising to 11mil on potential bonuses and add-ons. The most important thing financially is the wage package imo, its just to hard to shift players who don't perform if they are on 80k a week.

It's 13.3 euros whatever that is and 1m bonus. Bargain.

£10.5m plus bonus. Good business that is.
