Man City can pay the 16 top class strikers they have £200k pw to not even make the bench

Neither of those scenarios apply to us

I don't believe that getting into the CL or even winning the league once will allow for us to sign a player capable of challenging Suarez or Sturridge; unless he thinks that he has a genuine chance of displacing either. Which is blatantly not going to happen

With that in mind, we're looking for someone on the tier below us looking to make a step up or a player that's fallen out of favour for whatever reason and therefore doesn't expect to walk into the side

They don't ahve to be good enough at this time to challenge SAS, they just need to be better than Borini with room for improvement.

There are also often 3 or 4 forward positions up for grabs, not just two so if they are versatile (as most BR players are), they can get games in various positions.

The lad can finish but puts zero work in for the team but does absolutely **** all else. When he's not scoring he's a liability it's like playing with ten men.

I have seen a total of ONE of these play football in my life from memory . Also they're not all strikers as such, but can play in the forward line. Bomb out Borini and Aspas, they're dead-weights, and bring in some of these lads

Not really, Eto'o is top class yeah. Torres and Ba are decentish, but on the whole very poor.

Torres is still a £50m player and Ba was rated higher tha Sturridge when signed. They also had Lukaku who they decided to let go on loan. All decent players at some stage and proven PL goal scorers. The fact that they are **** now shouldn't matter, Chelsea had hoped they had 3 or 4 quality players when they signed them, none was signed as a squad player to make up numbers on the bench.

A case on paper could actually have been made for Spurs in August when Defoe was still there actually.

At the same Age Van Persie scored 2 more goals and had 1 less assist.

You can't write him off really, he's spent most of his time on the wing and has shown when called upon he can finish. He's good enough for the bench and cup games.

Depth is very important for us next season.

Really mate? Last year Hernandez scored 26 goals all told... that's as much as Borini has in his whole career at senior level. Hernandez has 35 goals at international level too.

Each to their own but IMO If we get a decent offer... IMO sell quick smart.
