Thanjk you.

There was a simple forward pass to Sterling which was weakly hit and Sterling lost it.
I think it's a confidence thing.
Was going to reply the same to shaggy. Confidence thang. I think it's coming now he's had a run, I can see him scoring one or two and it all coming good. (Fingers crossed).
Hopefully Sterlings final ball will improve with experience too.
I didn't understand why some were saying he was having a shocking game, it wasn't outstanding but i do remember it being tidy as that compilation shows.
I don't think he will ever be a player that creates many headlines but the team looks more balanced ever since he has had his run in it imo.

He was a man possessed. Competition for places is what it's all about and he's given Rodgers a choice to make for the Southampton game with that performance.
I think he positional/tactical discipline could be really handy if we persist with Gerrard in his current role (and Lucas stays out injured). It would be harsh to drop any of the other midfielders but it is really good to feel we have some depth at last.

Definitely, and for that reason I'd rather not sell him unless he's desperate to go. Finding back-up of sufficient quality is so difficult because obviously everyone wants to play every week. If Allen wants to stay I'd be well happy to keep him. Good player and he completely gets what Rodgers wants from him...something of an on-pitch lieutenant for Rodgers in a similar way to how Xabi was for Rafa.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
I agree Pabs but maybe that was because he knew how long was left, he has to perform like that every time he plays, Henderson is leading the way with energy levels and commitment, hopefully Allen can start to sustain those levels soon.
