I'm not a big Allen fan but i thought he played very well last night. Him & Lucas covered the ground across the whole midfield. Although it was a poxy miss initially, second time round was a lovely finish.

Its not bollocks at all, he had loads of space. He's one of these players, like Heskey, where when he has the time to think about what to do with a goal attempt, he cocks it up, losing composure. If he has to react instantly he's far better.

The rest of his game was good, yes.

Somewhere along the line i see to have turned into Skrtel number one fan on here. I never used to rate him so i don't know how the **** that happened. Maybe it's all you cunts using him as a scapegoat

He was excellent tonight again and still somehow people have managed to find something to slag him off it's kinda ridiculous. The partnership will develop in the centre but as many have been saying we need two decent fullbacks and things will improve greatly. The full back area have been pretty awful for 2 seasons now.... it's a big problem.
