I think Joe's a decent player but one of those who needs to click into a rhythm by playing every week. He's never gonna get that with us and so with that in mind should probably be sold if we were to get a good offer. Poor tonight, right from his first touch.

It's not being kind, it's a fact. It's difficult. Sure, he was ****e but people IMO are too quick to stick the boot in. These factors need to be taken into consideration. Sturridge looked woefully short of sharpness - and damn right he should be short.Originally posted by Rich View PostIf I'm being kind it looked like he was just coming back from injury but it was a really poor performance. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He's so lightweight. He's at best a cog. Can't turn a game, can't influence a game, he's just there. At times its like the mascot got on the pitch. He's easily the worst player at the club. Its not his fault he's just nothing. Willo the wisp.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

even when fully fit he isnt all that.
brendan put him in the team cos he trusts him
too lightweight, not good enough.
what happened to the player we signed in his first few games. maybe he should have been urine tested after those games.
he certainly is playing clean now
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I was actually quite impressed that he'd returned to his normal level of **** so quickly after injury.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostIt's not being kind, it's a fact. It's difficult. He's probably worth keeping around because a) he doesn't seem to complain when he's not playing b) he's probably on realistic wages c) we'd lose a lot of the £15m.
He's very much a back-up player for me and shouldn't be relied upon for a stretch of games, unless he has a monster backing him up. (Can?)James Philip Milner Fanclub #1
