"MARK HUGHES admits the ongoing pursuit of Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi has gone cold in recent days but is refusing to give up hope of capturing the Moroccan international before the closure of the transfer window.
The pacy wide-man has long been touted as one of the Welshman’s primary summer targets having impressed the Potters chief sufficiently during a successful loan spell last term to make a permanent bid for his services.
Hughes says he and the Club remain keen on concluding a deal to recapture the 25-year old, but says he isn’t sure whether there will be a positive or negative outcome in their efforts to bring the winger back to the Potteries.
“It’s common knowledge that Ozzie (Oussama Assaidi) is somebody that we would like to bring into the Club, but at the moment that deal has gone cold,” Hughes revealed to Stoke City Player. "
