Thanjk you.

I keep seeing this "our squad is paper thin", which is a load of bollocks really, its all subjective. Paper comes in all types of thickness dependent on whether its writing paper, blotting, tissue, wrapping etc etc.
I wish people would state what type of paper thickness our squad is.

The more I think about this the more I get annoyed. Why did we get him in, on a pricey loan deal. **** him about and play him here and there. Then bomb him out at the first chance we get.
I put the blame for this squarely on Rodgers. His signing, his mistake.
I think that's way out dude. We took a potentially class player on a loan deal rather than spunking loads of cash on him, it wasn't working out so we moved him on rather than having him sat around doing nothing. Not our fault he wasn't as good as he was supposed to be
Imagine training your bollocks but you don't get an opportunity because the manager doesn't fancy you or he has a favourite which he wont dislodge?
Think that's a leap too dude. The one thing Rodgers has shown is that he'll pick people on merit. Enrique and Henderson have both forced their ways into the side after it was clear at the start that Rodgers didn't make much of them. He's consistently mixed the side up depending on form & fitness. No way is that the reason Sahin didn't make an impression here.

Gerrard of late has been playing the game the way Nuri was brought in to play.
Personally, I think Rodgers had a look at our squad and got it wrong. Maybe he assumed Stevie could play behind the striker, or maybe he assumed Sahin could make us tick and control the game.
Either way, we ended up pushing Sahin behind the striker when he was in the team more often than not.
Tbh, he probably ended up there because he lacked the strength of character to play deep in the EPL. Either way, I'm glad he's not wasting our cash anymore.
I think there is a strong chance he was homesick if he took a pay cut. All the talks that Rodgers wouldn't play him in his best position were exagerrated and taken out of an interview did earlier in the season.
