          John Barnes was supposed to have said he wanted to join Arsenal too, didn't turn out too badly did it?

          Also, this signing for a season (I wrote this elsewhere) - is Suso going to be ready in a year's time? A gap bridging signing?

                    So happy about this. A signing out of the top drawer. I'm amazed we got him. Hopefully he'll love it, have a good season and sign permanently next summer but we'll deal with that then. For now I'm made up - the middle three of Lucas, Allen & Sahin is awesome.

                          From Spearing and Adam to Sahin, Lucas and Allen in one transfer window. Its not quite what we had before, but its a lot closer than it was.

                          Great business yeah, because it shows ambition.
