His lack of involvement makes it look likely that he will be leaving in the summer.

More than enough then to decide he's good enough then..
He's 23 and hardly got a game for us, yes he's had a bad injury but it's highly unlikely he's ever going to be good enough for us.
Shame but we've had plenty of "talented youngsters" that in reality are just not good enough; the posting about this lad from time to time has been ridiculous

I agree, people who have hardly seen him play crying out for him to be played ahead of established players. However, anybody who watched his performance against us for Sporting couldn't help but be impressed. Equally, he looked excellent for our reserves and never looked out of place when picked for the 1st team, so I can see why people questioned why he didn't get more of an opportunity. He was never gonna transform us into title contenders as some would have us believe, but he could possibly have saved us a few quid in transfers if we'd put a bit more faith in him, certainly the Alberto money anyway.Originally posted by RichC View PostMore than enough then to decide he's good enough then..

Thing is games taken in isolation can make most players look decent, he's not made it for us and is 23 - do I think he's good enough to improve us not really and his lack of opportunities sort of back that up. Shame as we all like a technically sound player coming through and you want your youngsters to push through and show they're going to be good enough; by the looks of it he's not and is more Suso than Coutinho.Originally posted by RedReet View PostI agree, people who have hardly seen him play crying out for him to be played ahead of established players. As Chazza mentioned likely to see him playing mid level somewhere in Europe soon.
Oh the Alberto money was nuts, £7M just wasted by the looks of it (one of many over the past few seasons)
