His lack of involvement makes it look likely that he will be leaving in the summer.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think it is a certainty at the very least on loan.

Doesn't his contract expire in the summer?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Next big thing along with Suso, mark my words

            Fiorentina is apparently his destination.

Shame because I really like him, along with Illori and Wisdom, I think they'll all be gone.

He's played 2 senior games for us (according to wiki) how much of him have you actually seen.

He's played 8 senior games in all competitions.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

More than enough then to decide he's good enough then..

He's 23 and hardly got a game for us, yes he's had a bad injury but it's highly unlikely he's ever going to be good enough for us.

Shame but we've had plenty of "talented youngsters" that in reality are just not good enough; the posting about this lad from time to time has been ridiculous

I agree, people who have hardly seen him play crying out for him to be played ahead of established players. However, anybody who watched his performance against us for Sporting couldn't help but be impressed. Equally, he looked excellent for our reserves and never looked out of place when picked for the 1st team, so I can see why people questioned why he didn't get more of an opportunity. He was never gonna transform us into title contenders as some would have us believe, but he could possibly have saved us a few quid in transfers if we'd put a bit more faith in him, certainly the Alberto money anyway.

Thing is games taken in isolation can make most players look decent, he's not made it for us and is 23 - do I think he's good enough to improve us not really and his lack of opportunities sort of back that up. Shame as we all like a technically sound player coming through and you want your youngsters to push through and show they're going to be good enough; by the looks of it he's not and is more Suso than Coutinho.

As Chazza mentioned likely to see him playing mid level somewhere in Europe soon.

Oh the Alberto money was nuts, £7M just wasted by the looks of it (one of many over the past few seasons)

He is good, but we have Coutinho, Firmino, Lallana and arguably Ibe who can perform in the same role. Which means his opportunities are limited. Unless he suddenly becomes better than them, he's not going to get a look in. Keep him for a rainy day? Sell him? Loan him?

                          Comment

Ibe? Klopp has just told him to concentrate on using his direct running and not try anything clever!

Teixeira is three times the player Ibe is in pure talent terms but alas is good in the "wrong area" as far as this squad is concerned.

If Man Utd were selling him they'd get about £8m for him. We'll probably get £2m, but he's definitely off imo.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                                Out of contract isn't he?
