QPR have failed with a £7.3m offer for Rennes' French midfielder Yann M'Vila, 22. The Ligue 1 club are holding out for around £8.3m and M'Vila is keen to move to Loftus Road as long as the deal involves a release clause in the event of Rangers being relegated.
