Tottenham Hotspur's Brazilian midfielder Sandro will miss the remainder of the season through injury.

A club statement reads: "Following consultation with the knee surgeon, the club can report that Sandro is expected to be sidelined for the rest of the season after surgery on his right knee earlier this week.

"The Brazil international was forced off during Saturday's game against Queens Park Rangers after injuring both his Anterior Cruciate Ligament and Lateral Meniscus."
I would guess they either get Holtby in early or maybe go back in for Moutinho.

        They're trying.

As soon as the deal was confirmed there were already suggestions that Schalke could be persuaded to let him go for a €1-2M.

I don't see the logic. Holtby is NOT a holding midfielder.

Losing Sandro is a big blow for them.

I know they will have Parker back but Sandro and Dembele were playing very well together.

Have some respect and use his full given name - Scott "Scotty Lionheart" Parker.

Sandro is immense. In fact him and Dembele can't be far off the best CM pair in the league.

Arsenal's isn't bad either to be fair, Arteta, Wilshere and Cazorla

If Tottenham could add Moutinho they'd be in business.

AC Milan are in talks to take Real Madrid midfielder Kaka back to the club in the current transfer window, vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed. He told the Gazzetta dello Sport: "Kaka? [President Silvio] Berlusconi has spoken to him today. All three of us need to agree. We are struggling to make ends meet in terms of the numbers, but we can succeed if we are a bit clever, imaginative and make some sacrifices."

Newcastle United are set to confirm the signing of Montpellier defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa early next week.
The two clubs have agreed a fee, thought to be £6.7m, for the 23-year-old France international.

I see Cisse has gone on loan to some club in Qatar.
