Zaha will not be sold for £20m. Maybe £10m tops with some add ons. If Ince is about £6m there will undoubtedly be some add ons.

IMO Zaha will be worth the difference.

Weren't people laughing at the prospect of signing Zaha not long ago? Has he improved that much?

I have a suspicion that very few people had seen much of him them and not that many more have now. Some people laugh at the idea of buying anyone form the lower leagues until one of Chelsea, United or Arsenal are interested.

I'd have said that but you have said it instead. Had to be said.

              Agreed.

Plus signing Ince back would be another massive embarrassment for us in the transfer market.

Will Buckley is supposed to be better than both of them though.

If signing ex players up for massive fees is fine by potentially the best team of all time (Barca), then it's fine by me.

IMO the only thing that should be up for debate should be the quality of the player and whether or not they would be worth the fee.

The fact that he's one that slipped through the net doesn't matter at all.

In fact, as he is obviously an ex player you could say that he has a better chance of being a hit as he obviously would settle in the area and at the club, whilst I'm sure the persons who coached him would have passed on whether or not he was worth signing for a certain fee.
                  Forwards.......

I agree, we should look past him being on our books before and just make a decision on how much we value him as a player and if he's likely to make a contribution.
                    * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Apart from paper talk, has anybody hear Rodgers say he is actually interested in Ince?

                          I'd take him.

Far from finished product but he has imo a good potential.

Aren't we already in trouble with the FA for talking about other club's players (ie Dempsey) in the summer? I would think in that context we won't be doing a great deal more open talking about future targets
