Has his twitter acct been shut down?Originally posted by Nick77 View PostThe problem with Sterling is not money-related, it's location-related. He misses London & wants to go back. We have apparently convinced him to stay & he will sign a new deal this month sometime...Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Wasn't Alba's contract almost up though?Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostPique went back for about 6 million I think....Alba about 11 IIRC
If we're undoing all the stupid transfer market mistakes made by the previous management, then i suppose this might be just another part of it. Seems to be a needless part though.

Zaha is over-rated and Palace want £15M for him. **** that.
Ince is pretty good, it's debatable as to how good he'd be in the Premier League seeing as he hasn't played in it and his form in the Championship has been a bit erratic but for £4M it might be a worthwhile gamble.
Nothing wrong with the circumstances under which he left - him and his cock of a Dad wanted guarentees on playing time and a lot of money. The club rightly weren't prepared to back that and so he left. Things have changed and he might come back. Simple.

I agree with this.. We can't afford to take a risk on Zaha and I don't think he's all that much better than Ince, if at all anyway.Originally posted by Captain Stu View PostZaha is over-rated and Palace want £15M for him. **** that.

Agree with that. I've seen him for England U21s a couple of times this season and he was largely as gash as he was for our reserves. I don't want us to sign him but if we do then it's no problem (in terms of him leaving us) and it'll be a relatively small fee.Originally posted by Captain Stu View PostZaha is over-rated and Palace want £15M for him. **** that.

Yeah, for a few million quid it's a worthwhile gamble - I'd rather try with someone like him that give Downing or Cole any more game time.Originally posted by Bender View PostThing with Ince he has kicked on in his career albeit at championship level....next move is with a prem club which will either make him or see him stay as a championship player...think it's worth a gamble

i think the money we spent/are spending on those two we could hire Messi for half a seasonOriginally posted by Captain Stu View PostYeah, for a few million quid it's a worthwhile gamble - I'd rather try with someone like him that give Downing or Cole any more game time.
ps throw in carrolls transfer fee and we could have signed Messi

I'd settle for selling them at all, not losing an obscene amount of money and buying a framed photo of Messi.Originally posted by Bender View Posti think the money we spent/are spending on those two we could hire Messi for half a season
