Eccleston and Wilson went there on loan - although not as part of the Adam deal.

Only we could give a player away for next to nothing (£250k I think) and buy him back a year later for £5m. I know it was his decision to leave but still. Let's hope he's good enough.

I wouldn't be underwelmed by the rumoured double swoop for ince and Sturridge, especially if we wrapped them up early. Some people complain about their perceived attitudes, which is unfair IMO. In the last 2 years it has been frustrating to watch the team camped around the oppositions box for long periods yet fail to come up with as many goals as they should have, I hope Sturridge/ince would remedy this as it's two more players who can skin a man in tight areas and then cross or shoot, currently only Suarez/sterling really have that trait, maybe assaidi too but he hasn't played much.

It is common knowledge that Diame was a done deal if Kenny had stayed. You honestly think Kenny would have gone and got relative unknowns from abroad??
His track record says choosing bang average british premiership players.
