This was from the mirror a few days ago:
Thomas Ince’s move back to Liverpool from Blackpool has hit a new problem – over a 10 per cent pay-off for the young star.

The England Under-21 wide-man is hoping to complete a return to Anfield soon after the transfer window opens in the New Year.

But the haggling over the fee has been complicated by the 20-year-old being due a slice of the profit from the sale.

Liverpool are ready to pay £6million for Ince, with 35 per cent going back to them from a sell-on clause when he left the Kop for *Bloomfield Road 18 months ago.

Now, there is a problem over the £600,000 due to Ince junior, which is delaying the process behind the scenes.

He never did that when he played for us.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

What is it with Blackpool offering players percentages of sell on fees? Isn't this the same issue we had when we were signing Charlie Adam from them?
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

May be down to the paltry wages they pay. Actually, that may be the right way to go...

                    I'd prefer Zaha myself.

Given that Oyston is in charge of negotiations anything is possible and I wouldn't be surprised if this drags all the way to the end of transfer window regardless of the outcome.

I agree mate. I've been a fan of Zaha since he broke through at Palace. He's a lot more unpredictable than Ince which I like. I reckon Dalglish would have bought him if he had still been manager. He will end up going to the gunners imo.

If this is happening it probably isn't happening soon.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
