And that example works both ways, not saying he won't be sold but in reality we're both guessing what will happen in the Summer

Hardly a stab in the dark though, is it? All I'm saying is I wouldn't be at all shocked if Rodgers still wants Ince, or another winger.

Me too. Its not like were going to recoup anything like what we paid for him so I don't see the point. Hes found some kind of decent form so unless someone offers silly money Id keep him
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

That's the main reason why I think we'll keep him, we still may be in for Ince but I'm not sure now as Oyston will want a chunk of cash and depending on what we have to spend I think there are other areas that need to be worked upon.

I don't think Paul Ince taking over will make a difference really.

He seems to be putting Tom's future first and advising what's best for him, I reckon he'd put his sons career ahead of the football club he manages.

It's Oyston that seems to be the problem.

But like others have said, if we keep Downing then I can't see us going for Ince. Who knows though.

I think Ince taking over there increases our chances of signing him.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                Yeah, I tend to agree.

As for Downing, I'm quite sure the issue of whether he's sold or not will be resolved by the level of bids we receive for him, if any. He will definitely have a price, but what we'll want that to be I have no idea.

Downing should go, he's an average player who's still mind-numbingly predictable.

He has played better recently but I really hope he moves on in the summer.

He certainly has improved, he was pretty good against Swansea but, when it really counts, he reverts back to his preferred mode of "Wingplay By Numbers" - receive ball, run a bit, cut onto left foot, come inside, shoot wide of the post. Rinse and repeat over and over again, he's not dynamic or spontaneous and doesn't really "beat" people.

I'm surprised that there's not been similar talk to United signing him. Nani is expected to leave this summer, Giggs is surely on his last legs too and that is a space that needs filling. I think Ince can develop in to a player that will play on the biggest stage and the only thing that would really grate United would be having to pay us 35% of any deal

                          Zaha is replacing Nani.

                              Phil Jones will replace him.

This may change now he is the manager, at Blackpool the Chairman and Manager seem to pick up a percentage of any profits from sales, very odd. Would Paul turn down the possibility of losing 1m notes to further his son's career??

                                The dynamics have changed.
