Reina's distribution at the moment is just shot passes out to the centre backs or fullbacks, previously (under Rafa) his distribution was to players much further up the field.

Agreed. With such tight funds we cannot afford to spunk £6m on a 19 year old who isn't going to play. We've already creamed £5m on Assaidi and Yesil - players who do not play. A further £6m would mean upwards of £11m spent on non-priorities.
