That’s a risky move and Barca are bound to start getting sick of buying their own players back at a premium. Why not just give him a pay rise and send him out on loan?
Any move is a risk, but his experience would suggest that he will be down the pecking order at Barcelona. I would imagine that top teams tend not to want to loan players who they aren't evaluating before a purchase. So he may not have the option of a loan to a team he wants to join.

He's not going to get in at Barca... he's an exceptional talent that wants first team football. He'll be going from the champions of Spain..to the champions of England so not a bad move for him & he'll most likely get first team footie.
Personally i'll be gutted if they get him as he'll slot in there nicely. Could potentially be a superb buy by moyesy's united.

Cardiff have signed Danish international striker Andreas Cornelius for ~£7m from FC Copenhagen where he scored 18 goals last season.
Could be an interesting signing, made quite a quick breakthrough. Big lad, with fairly decent technique and his head in the right place. Can certainly see him scoring some goals if he get's the chance.

You'd hope so. If it's attached anywhere except to his neck there'd be an issue at £7m
Schalke president Clemens Tonnies says he would not stand in the way of Julian Draxler were a big club to come in with an acceptable bid for him.
The 19-year-old Germany midfielder recently penned a new five-year contract with his home-town club, yet that has not brought an end to speculation about his future.
Chelsea are among the clubs linked with a move for the youngest ever player to make 100 appearances for Schalke.
And Tonnies admits even his club's biggest asset has a price.
"Of course we want to keep hold of him, Julian is an important figure in Schalke," he told the Express newspaper.
"But if we want to be fair with him, then maybe we have got to consider letting him move abroad sooner or later.
"If somebody like Real Madrid were to enquire about him, what should I say? Don't talk to them? Get serious." link
The Queens Park Rangers striker Djibril Cissé has left Loftus Road by mutual consent.
The 31 year-old Frenchman, who joined from Lazio for a reported £4m in 2012, made 29 appearances and scored 10 goals but spent the second half of last season on loan at the Qatari club Al-Gharafa.
QPR's manager, Harry Redknapp, needs to reduce the wage bill following relegation from the Premier League and Cissé has followed his fellow attacker Jay Bothroyd out of the door.
The former Liverpool forward had a year left on his contract.
He had been linked with a move to Montpellier but their chairman, Louis Nicollin, said this week he did not want to sign "a guy who plays DJ in bars".
A statement on QPR's website read: "The club would like to thank Djibril for his contribution and wish him all the best for the future."
