I don't buy the "he mustn't be that good" line - anyone who's seen him play can confirm that he is. You don't come through the Ajax academy - one of the best in the world - and become a mainstay in the team unless you're reasonably good.

maybe him and his agent just see it as a stepping stone.
there seems to be a few players happy to do that. it gives them time to establish themselves without the pressure of playing at a high profile club, etc.

Reasonably good isn't exactly good enough though. Very different proposition playing here than Eredivise. Don't think you realistically can judge a player like that.
