Robinson had a bit of a stinker, clumsy at the back and didn't offer much going forward.
Henderson was tidy enough for most of it, but didn't get involved nearly enough for a CM and captain. Tried to force the issue more once Italy went ahead but it was too late. Unlucky with a good free kick saved late into injury time that was saved.
Be curious to know what other people made of Shelvey because my opinion was that although he wasn't brilliant, he was involved in every good thing England did (similar to Redmond actually, but obviously different styles). If England were to score (which they did), you'd have bet that he'd be involved. Was surprised when he was subbed off.
