    Thanks, Tee.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Maybe I was a bit OTT. Obviously the guy can play. But for me, he was hugely over-rated. He never dribbled past a player, he stood there, people stood off him. He stopped the ball and pinged in an awesome cross. It was typical of how much teams never tried against Utd over the years

I actually think he was a better player as he got older and left Utd.

        Oh Tee Tee.

I think you're still doing Beckham a bit of a disservice. Of course full backs tried to stop him getting his cross in, everyone knew what a weapon it was. He just managed to do enough to, you can't claim it's luck or lack of effort from opponents FFS.

This thread just got me thinking of this old thing from comic relief

Posh is clearly the brains of the beck's operation

Former England winger Chris Waddle thinks David Beckham would not rank in the top 1,000 Premier League players.
Ex-Manchester United midfielder Beckham, 38, will retire from football at the end of the season.
"I would say he has been a good player, I wouldn't put him down as a great," Waddle, 52, told BBC Radio 5 Live.
"You can go down a list of footballers since the Premier League and I don't think David Beckham would probably be in the first 1,000."

I hate the fact the David Seaman is 50 this year!

When exactly do you wish he had died? And why?

                              But it's true though.
