The Echo are reporting that Toure still has an outside chance of making the game on Sunday!
Liverpool FC have received some positive news regarding Kolo Toure’s groin injury.
There were fears that the 32-year-old centre-back would be sidelined for up to six weeks after he was stretchered off in Tuesday night’s Capital One Cup tie against Notts County and left Anfield on crutches.
However, the damage isn't that severe and Toure has responded well to treatment at Melwood.
The defender has yet to concede defeat in his battle to be fit for Sunday’s visit of Manchester United and will be reassessed today.
It's bull****. A story leaked to the Echo from the club with the express task of telling selling teams we aren't desparate for a defender when we patently are.

Also, never worth giving your bitter opponents any useful information before a game. I agree with Neil, we're 'releasing' this information for various reasons and I'd be surprised if he appeared on the bench.
