I think in fairness Sarb you are overreacting.

You had a bit of a ****house response to Kolo, and your general chat about the transfers and stuff has been largely negative. People are always gonna jump on that. Rose tinted spectacles or not.

If I came out and said that Aspas was as good as Suarez id expect a certain response, and I think in calling Kolo you'd know you would come up against a certain response. Debate is good, but if you have an 'out there' point you cant spit your dummy out when people call you on it.

My view on transfers was they were non existent and its a failed window. didnt slate Ayre or FSG and valid point to question the structure. Some dont want to question anything. Its upto them

That's not solely aimed at you by the way. Both for the overly positive and the overly negative that goes on, it's tough I guess as football is annoyingly an emotive sport for fans

This is all reading like everyone's ganging up on Sarb, which isn't fair. His posts are venting frustration, which is a bit tedious at times, but its not like he never writes a decent post or is always moaning.

Frustration is fair enough, I reckon you just need to read your posts back before you click reply Sarb, and imagine how the pickier posters will react to it

Alright gentlemen (and muddled) you've all had your say so how about we get back to the thread topic now.

Sarb - for the record (and I believe Alex already pointed this out), abuse of any of our players along the lines of "**** cunt" and "wank stain" have never really been acceptable on here (I thought that was explicitly mentioned in the rules but it's not). I'm sure the odd thing has been been let slide/missed over the years (depending on the player I guess ) but if you could try and stick to criticising performances rather than resorting to personal abuse. That would definitely be more helpful regards to good debate - I can't imagine anyone would argue that he played well yesterday!

And by the same token, personal abuse of posters isn't acceptable either so can we all refrain from that also.

We made 36 defensive errors last season,10 of which led to goals.

So far this season we've made 28,6 of which led to goals.

Not sure that constitutes much of an improvement given there's still 14 games to go.

Hmm. 40% fewer goals with about 35%ish of the season remaining. So an improvement, but not substantial.
