He/Bloomberg are serious operators, heavyweights and not for transfer tittle tattle. Great stuff from the club in pushing on with this while trying to close out so many other deals too (Alberto, Aspas, Ilori, Papadopoulos!). I'm very impressed with the way we're going about things.

What's the latest on Papadopoulos, it seems to have all quieted down a bit...

I've read somewhere that we could be looking elsewhere due to the fee Stuttgart are asking and the fact he has an injury record. Most probably bollocks but I think it was Bascombe who reported that.
            Are we winning?

Stuttgart have some ****ing nerve asking for a few that size for a player they don't own.

There is no way we should pay more than 12 mil given the fact he was injured so much last year. Schalke are rumoured to want 20. The gap is too big, the risk too great.

What's the point in signing a potentially world class centre back if he turns into an aquilani crock. That's my opinion, perhaps the club also feel the same way.

Yes, Henrikh does want to move to Anfield. But it all depends on Ian Ayre's ability to negotiate and Mkhitaryan's rights' owners.

It's a fatuous comment giving the Twit an excuse and a fall guy if it doesn't happen.
                          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Not at £22m if that's the figure Shakhtar want. I can see us going back for Eriksen who would be £10m cheaper and 3 years younger. For the record I think Eriksen is overrated, goes missing and is not dominating games like he should be regardless of him being only 21.
