money is important to the best players but equally theyve got to believe in what you're doing. I think he's lolling at the suggestion that Mancini is a big named manager.Originally posted by el matador View Postmoney is important to the best players but equally theyve got to believe in what you're doing. for sure. I think it was a bad example from ElMat but yeah I agree with the premise. Mourinho would have been a better example maybe.

Not going to lie, realy gutted about losing out on this guy. I had a good feeling about him and what he would bring to the side. I think potential world class
On the plus side, if we're not going down the spending route of the Chelseas and Man Citys, then I'd quite happily like to see the youngsters get a chance and develop.

In this instance I think you are well off the mark. If reports are to be believed, Liverpool/Rodgers have not been able to sell their vision to him as they have not been allowed to speak to him! In any case, we can sit here and make our own theories as to why this signing will or won't happen. Maybe we were never after him. Maybe this was just another Gaston Ramirez type situation? Maybe it's just a case of being duped by a few crooked ITK's who just sat there making things up? (we used to see that a lot on this forum from a few posters a few years ago!). The best one was the guy who claimed to see him in a hotel in LondonOriginally posted by el matador View Postmoney is important to the best players but equally theyve got to believe in what you're doing. . He was quite obviously lying when people asked how he knew Henrikh was carrying an Armenian passport. Of course he used google to find out but stated this several hours after people started to question him!
Also Mancini being able to attract players is a load of balls - money talks! My kebab comes with chilli sauce

It's over.
But, thank **** we can shut this thread.
Then move on to the next one and do it all again, arguing the same points and making the same arguments but about a different player.
.
edit: Come on guys, admit it, Arn was/is right.
