My Mum still buys the Mail

Its a real bone of contention with me, and as her politics are pretty Liberal I totally don't understand it. I think it is because she always has, she reckons she loves the magazine.

Even if they're mostly one match bans, think how many cards it requires for each one!

Well its hardly a surprise he has 2 of those for accumulating 5 bookings. He could have a further 2 (2x1 game) for a red card comprised of 2 yellows. A further 3 game ban for a straight red. Its more than average but not absurd levels.

I woul assume the average is less. I would assume the average for a central midfielder is higher than the standard average. Where Shelvey sits in relation to that I am not sure. Two of the suspensions have the same start date (which related to his elbow on Chan) so technically only 5th suspension still
