It's like when i play FM, i buy lots of future 5 star wonderkids at 16/17 years old and realise i have too many to give enough development time to. The next transfer window i buy a few more from the next batch etc... They become squad players and don't get a fair crack at reaching their full potential & get sold off. Usually for a profit which is nice in the long run i suppose.
In an ideal world we should pick one or 2 promising youngsters and develop them into first team regulars and when we have an established squad then we should restart the cycle and develop the next batch of yoof. It is difficult seeing £6-20 millions spent on potential and seeing their value go to less than what we paid!Comment
