He's not good enough in possession to play for us. I guess with all our attackers there's a balance atm, but against the lesser sides they'll sit & he has to have a bit more about him then. Still needs to improve massively before I'd take him.

I'm not one to deride our players but he is up there with Josemi, Kromkamp, Poulsen & Kippe as one of the worst players I have seen play for us. Good left backs are hard to find but I'm surprised we haven't moved for someone in this transfer window

Defensively he is excellent at times. The lad is a fighter who gives his all and hasn't let his head drop after that run of poor games.

Hopefully he can online to improve, if so 4 million is a no brainer. You get nothing for that these days.

I'd buy him for that alone.

I wouldn't pay £4m for him ATM. He's doing ok at the minute, but £4m + wages is a lot of money for a player who is still being upstaged by a youngster on the other side. Use the £4m for a better LB or promote from within.
