He was defending ok, but still poor going forward. Flanagan is better at keeping posession IMO, had more stand out games and greater potential to improve.
Also, in Flanagan's last 10 league appearances, we've won 9 and drew one, so I dare say he'd feel a bit bit hard done by if he was dropped too.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?Comment

only thing i'd say would be i hope this doesn't mean he dips off now in case we need to come in for a few games.
surely if it's still open, he might be more motivated to fight/produce his best in the last 10 games. If he now knows that he's not getting a move he might just go through the motionsi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i doComment
