Speaking of young English leftbacks, how far is our own Jack Robinson from the first team picture? I like what little I have seen of him, good pace, good height, good touch.

IMO Cissokho & Enrique won't be the answer to our LB inconsistency. Would like to say Jack Robinson but so young and a long way to go. Always remember Cissokho being decent going forward but pretty average defensively..... and that was when he was considered hot property.

In a 3-5-2 the emphasis is on the fullbacks to get forwards, we have an extra centre back to help out with the defensive side of things. If we are going to have a defensive minded fullback we may as well revert to a back 4.

Cissoko spends most of his time trying not to fall over the ball. I know its early days,new country etc but.... some players are just ****e.

He has been awful in every game. What really ****ed me off yesterday was, he was practically jogging back on at 4 occasions when Arsenal were breaking forwards and because of that, Sakho was having to move out of position to left back. He was pathetic. And what makes me cry even more is that he did an interview saying he was relishing this new attacking role - well he is awful going forwards. I can now see why Valencia let him out on loan. Really wish we still had Jack Robinson as cover
