Seems like there is this pot of **** journeyman managers that the same old teams draw from whenever they need a new manager. It's depressing.
You see this blame on foreign managers thrown around as to why there is a lack of good young English managers/coaches, but the above is more the reason IMO.

Moyes is safe because Gibbo lauged at me for predicting them to avoid the drop. Been playing great since then.Originally posted by baitman View PostMoyes is safe as you dont need to win to be a winner etc.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think Moyes does appear to be turning Sunderland around (albeit slowly). It was a broken club so he deserves credit if he can sustain the momentum they have over the rest of the season. Turning Anichebe into a useful player is nearly up there with Conte's work on Moses in terms of football alchemy.
For differing reasons you would think Hull and Swansea would stick with what they have for a while longer. Bradley certainly deserves a chance. People are very keen to start talking about sacking managers after what amounts to a few bad weeks.
Pardew, however, has had a long time to mould Palace. If their run continues then they will have to be thinking seriously about a change."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
