And practically speaking, are their chances likely to be hugely improved by a change? I don't think the squad they have are under performing particularly badly. They're getting above themselves, bank the flukey league title and go down with grace if that is what happens, it's not like they are going to achieve anything in the PL of any significance again in this generation. They should keep the general good will, pocket the cash and if they return to the championship then they can focus on a realistic change of winning that soon enough. the board are grasping and hoping for a miracle response to stay in the league and earn some extra tv money.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
