He needs to win one or two more titles with Rangers to prove it wasn't a fluke, then he can move to a team at the beginning of the season.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostNot so sure that's a good move for him.
Villa would be a good move at the beginning of the season.
I just want to see Morales in the PL
the new Costa!

Even at the start of the season and after a few title wins is it a good move for him, Villa at the moment are in a relegation battle and have just undergone a fairly significant overhaul with players he didn't choose, I wouldn't say that's really a good situation to move into. I would assume he would ideally want to make a move like Rodgers did when the time comes.Originally posted by HamboCairns View PostHe needs to win one or two more titles with Rangers to prove it wasn't a fluke, then he can move to a team at the beginning of the season.

I'm no fan of Rangers but he's done a magnificent job there.
They were miles off Celtic when he joined as manager. Celtic were odds on the claim 10 in a row at the time of Gerrard joining.
It's testament to his ability that he managed to turn things around (couple with Celtic being horrifically mismanaged post Brendan)

I have also noticed how is 'presence' as a manager is developing. He really sounds like a manager. He knows the right things to say and when to say them. He gets the right messages across.
That is a big development for me. He is destined to get a chance in the PL sooner or later. I wonder though, if he doesnt fancy sticking at Rangers for a bit longer to continue his apprenticeship.Modifying post.
