maybe, but the ref would be a tosser [or on the 'payroll'] to give it.Originally posted by Bender View Postto be fair if that was awarded to lfc we wouldn't say no thanks now would we!...
there was minimal contact and he and 99.99% of all players would have gone down for the penalty.
suarez went down today, maybe a slightly stronger contact, and the ref rightly didnt give it.
you can clearly see the chav player jump into the defender to increase the 'bump'

If we had got such a decision, of course we would accept it, but that does not make that decision correct.Originally posted by Bender View Postto be fair if that was awarded to lfc we wouldn't say no thanks now would we!...there was minimal contact and he and 99.99% of all players would have gone down for the penalty.
The defender was running in a straight line, Ramirez ran into him. Not sure if Ramirez was cheating to get contact or he was just naturally following the ball. Anyway it was just a collision of two players. The referee was in a perfect position to see that.
That was downright incompetence, make no mistake about it and should be eradicated from the game.

i wont have a word said against west ham and sam...Originally posted by peekay View PostWest Ham.
2 wins in 11 games, 9 goals scored ( less than goal a game) after a reasonably expensive summer.
Most managers would be under pressure from the media but not Fat Sam. Having friends in the media really helps him.
not after the favours they have done us in the tranny market
