One of my work colleagues is a season ticket holder at Crystal Palace and he has a couple of season tickets so I went along with him today as they were playing the bitters.
What an atmosphere in the holmesdale road end. They have 2 blokes who sit on the advertising boards and one guy in the middle of 200 blokes who control the chanting. The WHOLE game they have their backs to the football and get the hardcore fans chanting relentlessly without stopping. It was relentless chanting.
It was a ****e game but **** they make some noise. The songs weren't that imaginative such as "**** um up, get stuck into em" when the bitters were getting on top of them but it did the job.
It was a great atmosphere and something that is severely lacking at a lot of grounds now daysGo **** yourself

Its what's needed at EVERY ground mate. The crowds at the big teams are too complacent and bone idle.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Considering their two major attacking additions money wise in Ramirez and Osvaldo since promotion have flopped, its very impressive!Originally posted by danperkins View PostSouthampton really do look a good side this year. In particular Scheinderlein... will no doubts be the focus of alot of clubs in the summer.
