A German THIRD division team will play the Geman Cup final this season, after beating last season's double winners Leverkusen in the semi final.
The 4th Bundesliga team they've knocked out on their way to the final!

No, that Euro spots applies to the league only over in GermanyOriginally posted by Sus View PostOoh good question, given they are playing Bayern. If City won the FA cup and beat, say, Palace, would that mean that Palace are in the Europa league?Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Just heard on the radio that Brighton's win moves them up to 8th which could be enough for a European place, does that mean the PL could have 10 teams in Europe next season? seems mad. 5CL spots from the league (top 5) plus either Man Utd or Spurs for winning Europa league, 1 Europa league place that normally goes to the league, 1 that goes to FA Cup winners (Palace), 1 that goes to league Cup winners (Newcastle) but will be passed on to league if they make CL, one Europa conference place with normally goes with the league, and presumably the last place would be a Europa league place if Chelsea win the Europa conference this year?
10 teams seems a bit excessive, but so does 6 in the CL.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

****in nuts alright.
European super league in a different name. Keeps the gravy train on the tracks.
Whoever loses the Europa league final will have a bit of an advantage in the league next season because of all of the midweek games that they won't have to play while 10 of their rival teams will have to play. Expect if it is united that the fixture list will be coincidentally favorable with them getting more tricky games after European fixtures for their opponents.
No European footy this season has surely been a factor in the good campaigns for the likes of Newcastle, Forest, Bournemouth, Fulham etc..... wouldn't be surprised to see new teams break into top 8 next season - the likes of Wolves
