    Insightful.

Just did a quick search on here and there are 50 references to Boleyn and 600+ to Upton park. Honestly never heard of Boyeln park before this year or it at least didn't register. Thought it had something to do with the new stadium.

I'm guessing it's a Sky Generation thing, although still not sure why they've changed back recently.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

You say, insightful, but I was responding to this which simply isn't true.

Clearly lots of people have always referred to it. You've just not come across them it seems.

I remember it from childhood myself.

Jonathan Pearce, the crap commentator has always called it The Boleyn Ground in commentary.
      Oh I don't know.

That would have been a better reply first time.

I'm starting to get a clearer picture now.

From that chat above about CL qualification. What happens if we win the EL and West Ham win FA Cup and finish in EL spot. EL goes to West Ham, United (if they are outside the 4) and then the highest team who isn't us (probably 8th place)?

That is crazy if that is correct... 8th place in the league qualifying for Europe.

I'm waiting for the mad combination article from the BBC - they usually do one around the start of April each year. However, one thing I have found is that there is absolutely no possible combination of circumstances that will allow for 8th place to enter Europe, as a result of finishing 8th at least. Obviously if the team finishing 8th wins the FA Cup or if it is us and we win the Europa then they will.

Too late to go hunting for it now but will see if I can dig it out tomorrow.

Souness is either taking the piss or was drunk when he did this.

                      Blind and Ivanovic

                      No Kante or Mahrez either.

His managerial record showed he was a bit dim when it comes to picking players

Also, I'm sure there were posts in this thread yesterday. Did we lose some?

Danny Blind, Danny Rose and Ivanovic no wonder his managerial career was ropey

He should have gone full Garth Crooks and shoe-horned players into a 3-2-2-3 formation.

                              Danny Rose.
