Saturday night? Why not. Friday night proved very popular.

Newcastle v Everton and Liverpool v Bournemouth the first 11am kick offs no doubt
        Football without Origi is nothing

Genuine question, was Friday night popular, more so than the other Sky slots?

I like FNF personally, think Saturday is unnecessary. Weekday football needs to be late due to work commitments, don't see the need for Saturday.

Sorry, I was being a little sarcastic :P - personally I had no love for it.

I believe Sky had the rights to 10 Friday slots and showed 3, maybe 4 of them so I think that suggests it probably wasn't popular in the wider view than the clubs involved. I only watched the one that Liverpool were involved in. I think Friday and Saturday lates are pointless. Most people will already be doing stuff with friends/family/partners so it will have limited appeal for people to give up even more of their day to football. Saturday afternoon/evening fine but I suspect most people want a break from the sport at some point of the week

Total overkill but not surprising. They should just give the FA a slice of the tv deal money and lift the no live footy on tele at 3pm on a Saturday rule.

                Ahh, silly me.

I liked having football to watch on a Friday, the format was ridiculous though.

They do love a good ruck in that league. Seen a couple from there.

How far down the commentator pecking order are you if you're assigned to Chinese football on the weekend?

Above Fred doing the Kazhakstan league with your ambitions firmly set on Bob in Athens.

Okay, let's do a commentators ambition breakdown!

                              Rules:

                              1) The list have to be sorted without taking notice of the commentators nationality to not put in preferences to the model.

                              2) I have nothing.

                              3) Oh wait, excluding internationals and competitions. Club only!!

                              1) Champions League

                              2) England

                              3) Spain

                              4) Germany

                              5) Italy

                              6) Euro League

                              7) France

                              8) Portugal

                              9) Holland

                              10) Belgium

                              11) Brazil

                              12) Argentina

                              13 )Russia?

                              14) USA?

                              15) Turkey

                              16) Greece

                              17) China

                              18) Japan

                              19) South Africa

                              20) Poland?

This was a quick list before a meeting in 1 minute now so defo needs some adjustment / refinement. But I was honestly to optimistic at the Kazhak league level. Sorry Japan.

A Serie A manager has completed a 1,300km bike ride up the length of Italy, after telling his players he would do so if they avoided relegation.

Davide Nicola made the deal in April, when Crotone looked certain to go down.

But they won six of their final nine matches of the season to avoid the drop by two points, after having won just three games from their previous 29.

The 44-year-old arrived in his home town of Vigone near Turin on Sunday - nine days after leaving Crotone.

"Am I tired? I still do not feel any particular pain," he said.
