Barca close to spending 20m euros on Jeremy Mathieu. Bizarre signing. He was an awful left back, but converted into an okay central defender. Still think he's rather ****. Pretty hilarious signing, especially when you consider the other players they've been going for and the fee involved.

Mathieu was very good last last to be fair & showed improvement season before. In saying that he's 30 & seems a steep price & i agree a bit of a random one.
Though the Spanish league will be so in favour of Barca & Real, that Mathieu will be able to play until he's 65. He'll be strolling about when Barca have 89% possession against the rest of the ****e in the Primera.Comment
