If they mention the word 'loan' they should be told to go **** themselves.

Borini has injured himself anyway so it looks like we're stuck with him for a while yet...

Don't get the Vorm deal at all.Well can maybe understand why Spurs want decent back up, but why would he go to be a sub?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yeah a weird one from his point of view, going to sit on the bench at a club in the CL you can 'sort of' understand.

Unless he has been told Lloris is off and he will be number one.

Plus they've already got Friedel as well.

Pretty hilarious signing, especially when you consider the other players they've been going for and the fee involved.

Makes me feel better about the prices quoted for Lovren.
Awful LB? Whenever I watched him over the years he played well every time. Seen a fair bit of him and always rated him personally.

Couple of years ago I thought his chance of a big move was gone, so it is a strange one considering Barca have gone in for him. He is a good footballer though and has good pace.

Still, Barca could have done a lot better.

I assumed he'd left. Is he still there too?

Signed a one-year extension this summer according to Wiki. He's also a club ambassador so maybe he's not going to be leaving soon either. Hmmmm, Lloris on the move?

Lloris agreed a new contract just after the World Cup too. Tactic to maximise his value maybe?

FWIW I don't get the wankathon over Lloris, yes he's an excellent shot stopper but he has zero command over his box. He's woeful on crosses and tends to have some very odd lapses in concentration.

He's a good keeper despite that, but I've seriously heard people calling him the best keeper in the world which is bollocks.

I like him. He's a bit mad though, a proper sweeper keeper, and from time to time he gets it horribly wrong. He's still young for a keeper and if he can work on his decison making and concentration he could be one of the best keepers in the world.

Regards Lloris, one of my mates went to an Everton do over here few months back & he got chatting to Neville Southall... who said that he thinks Lloris is the best keeper in the league.

I do like Lloris, not many better shot stoppers out there. Reminds me of how Reina used to be, so quick off his line.... although got caught few times last season coming off his line i think. No where near the best keeper in the world but he's a very good goalie.

Dont get the Spanish league love in from Bale, the first time in ages a team challenges Barca and Madrid and they get raped. The amount of cash they get in via the exclusive deals in comparison to the rest of the league make it more or less impossible for anyone else to challenge. Every now and then someone will come along with a few local player and wham bam, Real and Barca pay stupid money which the opposition cant afford to turn down. To me, great players but such an uncompetitive league, which I fear Germany will become with Bayern's financial muscle as well.
To be fair in England, its more a level playing field with money distributed, where pretty much any team can give a top team a really good game.
I make no apologies, this is me
