Duping my post from the Villa thread, over here:

I’ve had a good look at it a few times and there are a couple of the classic tells that it might be some kind of fake with a face replacement.

The random zooms that keep happening show some artifacts around his face, though that could be the bit rate of the video. The very presence of those zooms makes me a little suspicious.

I’m also pretty confident that there isn’t enough audio of him speaking to train an artificial recreation, as we used to dable with that tech at my old job. In short - anyone who knows him will be able to tell if it is actually his voice.

If it is a fake… it’s really well done and opens a huge can of worms with regards to what you can and can’t take at face value these days.

I don’t he’s corrupt per se but he’s a biased imbecile who’s clearly let his personal feelings influence his decisions. Oh and what thick **** films himself in his position and what pricks of mates he has for sharing it

I think the voice matches up, as does the scar on his chin.

I’d say “real”… unless there is new tech out there which this is exploiting.

Surely if you knew you were going to be adding face replacement you’d purposely avoid that amount of movement/zooms?

Plus they’re not particularly random. Goes from wide shot of both speaking to close up when it’s just Coote, then further zoom when he knows Coote’s about to hold his phone up. Then back out again. They’re just a bit clunky and often he has to readjust them, but there’s a purpose to most of them.

Odegaard handball and Pickford tackle on Virgil, Coote on VAR for both. Not saying corrupt but from a bunch of incompetent refs he’s the absolute stand out.

The 'German cunt' aspect of it is enough to sink him. The defence that it is factually accurate that he is German so its not bigoted won't wash. There was no reason to reference his nationality while being derogatory.
