Someone on Bluemoon saying Coote is gay and they think the fella in the video is his ex. Could make sense why it has surfaced now when the match was 4 years ago.

If I recall correctly the Madley video was released by his brother in law. Madley and his wife split and the brother of the wife released it then despite it also being a old video.

No real honour in these videos leaking late, just score settling.

The 'German cunt' aspect of it is enough to sink him. The defence that it is factually accurate that he is German so its not bigoted won't wash. There was no reason to reference his nationality while being derogatory.

I think we need to separate a couple of things here.

1. He's a crap ref. He's not the only one, but if PGMOL are to take action then they should really have done that already based on his performance

2. We've all ****ed up. We've all said things we mean, but which we also mean to keep private. If you think that this ref is unique in any way, then you're kidding yourself. A lot of them probably hate Klopp, and most other managers, given the amount of abuse they get. Klopp himself has been banned a couple of times for it. This guy said something that happened to be recorded and he's been stitched up. I think it is fine to feel sorry for him in the circumstances. That could be the end of his career, for what?

What will say is what a few weeks we are having. Every single result going our way and hopefully this prick is getting sacked.

I don't think there is any excusing him being stupid enough to record that, absolutely none.

I wouldn't even say certain things in private texts, paranoid that unintended audiences might read it, so someone in his position doing that really blows my mind.

He’s put himself and his colleagues in an impossible situation if he ever makes a contentious decision against Liverpool again. Which given his track record, would only be a matter of time.

We all **** up, but sometimes we’re accountable for ****ing up and we have to accept the consequences.

The guy knowingly allowed himself to be recorded behaving like that. If anything he deserves to pay the price just for shear stupidity alone.

Maybe he can continue officiating but he can’t have any complaints if it’s no longer in the PL.

Even if its back in the PL it will have to be games such as United vs Everton and other mid table/releagtion games.

Its irrelevant to a degree whether he has any bias against us or not, the words give reason to believe he might. If there is any suggestion the product does not have honest refs it can damage the value of the brand.
