Was at a cracking 3-3 draw between Alex and Scunny at Grest Road. Was also at Shrewsbury when they knocked Southampton out of the Coca Cola cup.

Not a great match but certainly a memorable one was a second division match between Wigan and Bristol Rovers in about '97 that me and a few mates went to. It all kicked off at the end of the first half and 4 players were sent off 1 from Wigan and 3 from Bristol Rovers, most of the second half was played 10 vs 8, then another Bristol Rovers player got sent off midway through the second half meaning the game finished 10 vs 7
I'm not sure what the score was, Wigan won but not by as many as you might expect, it was only 3-0 or something IIRC.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Probably Oldham's 7–0 victory over Scarborough in the third round of the League Cup, 25 October 1989.
Memorable only for the reason that Frankie Bunn scored six goals which is still the League Cup record for most goals by a player in a single match

Probably the Madrid Derby I went to a few months back with a mate.
The atmosphere outside the stadium was fantastic, with firecrackers and pyros going off, and thousands gathered singing Atleti songs - got some Spanish guy teaching us all of the songs so we could join in with the ultras that we were sat with during the game
Game was 2-2 with Koke equalising at 1-1 and then Gabi scoring a piledriver from about 35 yards out - the place went mental! Totally different to a Liverpool game. Ronaldo made it 2-2 with about ten minutes to go which was a sickening but nonetheless it was a brilliant game.
After the game, about 6:45 we jumped on the metro across Madrid and made it in time to watch Rayo Vallecano vs Valencia for 8pm KO
was a boss day! Rayo were 19th and weren't expected to get anything, but they won 1-0 and the crowd were loving it - must have only been about 9000 fans there but it was a cracking atmosphere.
