I don't ever want to hear the phrase 'power play' in football.

Like the idea of reverting back to the old offside rule. Make it simple and all encompassing.
The idea of a player's position not having an effect on the defending team is ridiculous to say the least - they're always interfering with play just by virtue of where they are.

I'm undecided around the idea of sin-bins. I don't like yellow cards for kicking the ball away and removing your shirt in celebration, so something in between could be a positive. Would a five minute breather for heat-of-the-moment actions be a suitable deterrent instead of being one tackle away from a red card?

• Increased use of technology in the game, using sin-bins for unsporting behaviour.

All these ex footballers chucking their hats into the ring are actually not good, if you want to oust Blatter. I'm sure they are well intentioned, but they will only serve to split the opposition vote.

There needs to be one, credible opposition candidate with the experience to unite the rest of the football world against Blatter. Otherwise, there will be nothing.

The likes of Ginola and Figo are no more qualified to run FIFA than they are qualified to run Apple.
