I don’t think there are official brands for many of the products, it’s just that no brand gets to be seen anywhere near anything associated with the World Cup for free.

Would it not be easier just to use the official brands if they are going to be that precious about it

Link doesn't work or it was deleted already. Nothing surprises me though. You'd think they would be more concerned with damage limitation of a referee give a white supremacist gesture.

FIFA's brand protection is next level, I'm guessing that people have seen the Levi having to be blanked out at Levi Stadium, but they have brand protection staff removing labels from fan's water bottles as they go into the ground, but also this

Wouldn't put it past them to bring in a dynamic price model for selling water, the hotter it is and the higher the demand the more they charge.

They may as well march every fan that attends the games to a cashpoint and get them to empty their accounts. Then send them packing with a kick in the balls/fanny/hybrid It’s disgraceful.

But it's so the fans don't throw the bottles on the pitch and nothing at all to do with the stadiums missing out on charging 50 dollars for a bottle of water

    So nothing to see here.....

Fans not allowed to take water bottles into stadiums when despite the introduction of water breaks due to the heat. FIFA really are grotesque organisation that needs ripping apart and starting again

Except for when the World Cup is being held in the USA, then he holds a lot of sway, if only so they can have an easy life.

Wasn’t it the Italians who told them it wasn’t happening, and that they respect rules and play fair before FiFa, who would obviously do whatever Trump / the US wanted, said anything?
