Anyone paying attention when Infantino was poised to take over. He was the corrupt continuity candidate that corrupt football associations chose to keep their gravy train going. The US investigation should have been a watershed moment, but the corruption at national level wasn't dealt with, the people who got rich on the back of blatter still controlled the national FAs and still controlled the votes in FIFA. And worst of all, the likes of the English FA didn't have the balls or stomach to do anything different either and voted for the cunt. Shameful all round.

It does, but we all know the process isn't a fair one.

That devalues the trophy, if anything. Makes it less legitimate.

Not surprised by that one bit to be honest.

That's a bit of a red herring, only the North African states are comparable with ME in terms of temperatures.

The Tropics don't really vary that much in temperature and our summer is the winter for the southern hemisphere so conditions for a summer tournament would be fine.

Why they still allow the AFCON to take place in the middle of the UEFA season, when the vast majority of the superstars for the tournament have played here for years is beyond me.
