I stand by my original point that the World Cup wouldn't be held in Australia/ NZ because the timezone ****ery would greatly reduce the appeal of the tournament to advertisers and sponsors.

We've had multiple Olympics in Australia, with the next one in Brissy in 2032, so why not a World Cup as well? Put some matches on delay and start the big ones earlier or later than usual local time, problem solved!

I was at that game too. I remember that night well actually, as it was in the middle of an incredible cold snap. Never been so cold in my life as I was that night. It's not usually that cold.

I was at the Brisbane match on the Friday night then flew with my son to Melbourne on Saturday & we road tripped the Great Ocean Rd into Adelaide arriving Monday. Great experience & what about the rain in Melbourne as they’ll try & nab the matches for the MCG. I saw us play Victory there in 2013 too.

Anyone paying attention when Infantino was poised to take over. He was the corrupt continuity candidate that corrupt football associations chose to keep their gravy train going. The US investigation should have been a watershed moment, but the corruption at national level wasn't dealt with, the people who got rich on the back of blatter still controlled the national FAs and still controlled the votes in FIFA. And worst of all, the likes of the English FA didn't have the balls or stomach to do anything different either and voted for the cunt. Shameful all round.
